It’s kinda weird how humans naturally don’t have a ton of sexual dimorphism, especially compared to other animals, but society/media pressures us into artificially morphing ourselves to fit unnatural and oftentimes unhealthy standards.

Just to clarify this isn’t anti body modification, do whatever you want with your flesh vessel. I just think it’s weird how naturally tall/muscular women are deemed “not feminine enough” and short/skinny men are “not masculine enough” when… that’s just how their bodies are?

silly-jellyghoty

True. Our faces don't change their basic shape based on the amound of hormones we have as a result of our social status like with dominant orangutan males (non dominat on left and dominant on right)

image
image

We don't have a 3:1 body size ratio between males and females like elephant seals do

image
image

We don't have a whole damn set of seasonally appearing cancerous skin growth like deers do either

image

And yet here we are, comparing the diameter of each other's wrists as if that was some kind of a definite proof about which person is supposed to be which gender with only 2 options existing. Humans are super close to one another when it comes to our shapes, sizes, and even hair quality and distribution, including the facial hair - one of our biggest tells. Which aren't always there and are thus unreliable.

cannot stand adults who are unkind to children in any way. pick on someone your own size

vamprisms

Like. Can you not remember being a child? can you not remember being that vulnerable? can you not remember how scary adults could be? can you not remember how helpless you felt whenever they were cruel? can you not remember the relief when a grown-up was even just a little bit kind to you? the joy when they made an effort with you? it's literally so easy to be good to them; why wouldn't you choose that?

THIS. ALL OF THIS. they’re not hellspawn they’re not crotch goblins they’re people. little people who just got here and don’t know all the rules sometimes they act out because LIFE SUCKS SOMETIMES even for them and they don’t know what else to do but that’s no reason for you to be cruel to them.
